Brett Evans is a guy who likes to build cars that look cool and go fast. You may recognize him from the "Splitter" 1970 Trans Am build on V8TV. Before that car, he built this killer turbocharged ’65 Mustang Fastback. You can contact him at Outlaw Turbo Motorsports for help with your turbo car build!

Would you believe this beat-up lookin' 1940 Ford truck is actually riding on a high-tech frame and Mustang II suspension system and is a capable autocross performer? All the cool add-ons attracted our attention, like the rat-trap pedals, the horseshoe-mounted rifle, and the drive-in speakers, but we later learned that this rusto-rod is hiding a completely updated chassis and driveline. Check out the video of this very cool and creative old truck.

This awesome 1965 Shelby Daytona Cobra Coupe CSX2601 is THE car that beat Ferrari with Bob Bondurant behind the wheel, and now it's going to cross the Mecum auction block. The 1965 Shelby Daytona Cobra was one of six cars built by Carroll Shelby to compete against the dominating Ferrari in the F.I.A. (Federation Internationale de l’Automobile) World Manufacturers Championship for GT race class. An experimental coupe body designed by Pete Brock was built on an existing Cobra chassis, immediately increasing the top speed by 25 mph. That car won its first race, the 1964 Daytona Continental (prompting Shelby to adopt the name), and five more coupes were built, including CSX2601. In this interview, driver Bob Bondurant and designer Peter Brock tell the story of this legendary racecar.

This vintage Trans Am Mustang has been raced it's whole life. Trans Am cars from the 1960's are cool. For those not in the know, Trans Am was a road racing series which dictated that the cars competing relied heavily on factory parts. Local racers had the chance to share the track with factory-backed teams and hero drivers like Parnelli Jones, Mark Donohue and Dan Gurney and compete for cash. J. Bittle rescued this vintage 1968 Mustang that competed in the Trans Am series in the late 1960's.

We've all had the desire to Cruise around in cars that look '60's cool but perform like the best of today's high-tech muscle cars. Truth be told, many of the modifications gearheads make are to catch up with the engineers at the automakers. Features like fuel injection, better brakes, overdrive transmissions and additional handling capabilities are now commonplace additions on personalized musclecars. But the Julian brothers wanted more. They wanted a 1965 Mustang Fastback to perform exactly... if not better... than a 2003 Mustang Cobra.

So what is it? That's the big question surrounding Posie's new Aeroliner. He claims it started life as a 1935 Ford Roadster, but we've seen lots of those and this looks nothing like one.

We recently ran across a trick street rod featuring traditional styling and upgraded components for a great-handling sled.

Some people like to go through life unnoticed. Not so for Christina Smith. Just imagine trying to be stealth in a fully-tubbed flamed monster Ford with a thumping big-block. This 1964 Galaxie 500 definately makes a statement.
