The L92 is a big displacement, VVT, aluminum motor that pulls like crazy in its stock configuration. I think they are going to be very popular as swap motors out of wrecked trucks for a long time to come!

Why an L92? I am planning a very similar project on my '65 but am planning on an LS3/HC at this point. Very interested in why an L92 was chosen for this project. Thanks.

Once we realized the smaller alternator would clear the hood, we no longer needed the spacers. It was much simpler just to use the smaller alternator, and it's all GM bracketry... much better than ours!
