at Friday, 06 March 2009 10:34by Kevin Al, That is a great point. As we look at the car, it's 100% disassembled and media blasted on a rotisserie. The previous work was probably done lying on the ground, on painted metal, welding overhead. Makes a big difference.

at Friday, 06 March 2009 03:42by Al Kazelter Hi looks tlike your metal melter did not clean up before he set to. If the underseal, paint and rust is not removed properly before welding you wind up with parosity. My old welding tutor would always say we are not at home to Mr Mucky! This holds true for all workshop practice, also helps if proper gas shield is maintained. Look forward to the next installment
