PoorBest

Flaring lines for brakes and fuel systems can be a pain, and properly sealing double flared fittings are essential for safety.   Traditional clamp-style flare tools can be tricky to master, often times creating imperfect double flares forcing you to re-bend a new line.  However, we'll never have a bad flare again in our shop.. this Eastwood Professional double flare tool not only makes perfect double flares every time, but it's so easy to use, you could do it blindfolded.   Really.

Kevin,

I'm back!

I just ordered this tool. I have to replace a rotted rear brake line on my car. I've used the hand flaring tools and, like you, don't care for them.

I plan to buy a 25' coil of brake line and flare it, then bend it into position.

I learned of this tool last year watching this video! When I am done I'm thinking of re-baying this tool. Anyone at your shop interested?

Thanks.

Have you guys tried to flare stainless with this thing yet? Eastwood claims the tool is capable of forming stainless flares but I was looking for some real world feedback before I made the purchase. Thanks!
