Wow, very cool stuff! It's always interesting to see cars being hot-rodded that we don't have here in the states. Thanks for posting the pics! You run on metric drag strips over there, or is it 1/4 mile?

asphalt track (old airport track Smiley
hoping 11.x next summer with 150hp nos shot Smiley

Small update from season 2010.

Did 11.9s with the Monster Kadett, 150hp nitrous shot.

the track was slippery and we end up with broken fan belt so the 11.9s was the last and fastest run of the 3 attempts..

I installed proform electric water pump and smaller alternator (same amps, just smaller size)

for the 2011 season I'm replacing the vacuum carter carb with holley 750dp carburettor.
I also bought power starter, I've had problems with the stock starter, and this new one is very light..

For the Caravan 67, I've started to fit in the mazda 2 liter engine and transmission, got some retro style
bucket seats and rebuilt the whole front axle:

next step is to modify the oil pan to fit the engine lower..

Update for the 67 caravan project. I bought the supercharger, decided to buy the bigger m62 so I don't need to spin the charger so fast and be able to boost it lil bit more Grin

I also have a big throttle body from 2.8 liter Ford Sierra v6

I have almost finished the tranny cover welding and next step is to fit the EFI intake+eaton to the engine..

fuel and spark will be controlled by megasquirt Cool

The 67 Caravan project is going on. I have sandblasted and painted the rear axle. I also installed saab heavy duty shocks in front and Celica shocks for the rear axle. Intake manifold is ready with the eaton flange and the motor+tranny is installed..

I used the Mazda EFI intake, it didn't fit right on so I needed to make adapters from solid aluminun blocks

More details at our site http://www.cruisingnight.fi !
