This is what it looks like fore the moment, I am fitting in the engine with a remade F-body pan with my on design so the engine is going in an out of the car.... well i have lost count.

So....

The oilpan is now done, I am pretty satisfied. I did not have to take out sow much in the front now that I have had it in the car because it has to go up a little.... Angry The tie rod ends are hitting the oilpan as it is sitting now.

Some pics for you.

and another one frome the side.

The oil pickup is in its original palce so no modyfication there.

Have not had a lot of time for the car but I have designing my fuel system and because this is a forum where you come up with and share ideas I that I would post my idea of a good fuel system. I have ordered the parts to, but itīs a long road to go before I can install it.

Here is a drawing of what i am going fore.

It starts with a Tank inc. PA-4 pump that is mounted in the original tank, do not what a external pump that goes ti-ti-ti-ti as you drive along.

Then there is some braided hose to a Corvette filter/regulator, this sits in the back of the car infront of the tank.

From the filter/regulator I have a hardline that goes to the front, this to not have a dipp in the fuel pressure.

In the engine room it again changes to braided hose before it is connected to the original fuel rail.

All the fittings are AN and the ones to the rail and filter regulator are "specially" made fore this purpose.

This is in my opinion the cheapest way to go, and it is not a bad way. What do you think?

Looks great.   Nice and simple, and almost OE regarding the design.    We'll probably end up doing nearly the same approach on the '59 Biscayne we're currently building.     Thanks for posting the diagram!

Thank you!

OE is the right word, I belive that the guys at GM has spent enough money on design this  Wink And the pump is good fore 250 liters per hour and up to 100 PSI so there is room for some more horse power then the original engine has to offer.
