She's been impossible to pull from the truck!    Every once in a while, we'll see this buzzing light blue flash way out on the highway... it's Farmgirl burning up the roads in her '54.    48 mph seems like a million with a 3.90 rear gear and no overdrive!

To addres the issue of the truck costs, I bought the truck for 600.00
Turned the drums for 38.00
5 new tires 317.00
Brake and Engine parts 244.18
Shocks 78.69
weatherstrip 26.50
wheel cylinders 136.74
UJoint 136.00
Trans Rebuild Kit 110.20
Cab Corners 42.78
Transmission Nut 17.00
Brake Hoses 25.00
Alternator 41.39
Electrical Stuff 11.25
Starter Switch 43.49
Battery 30.00
New door windows 68.00
Heater Motors 80.00
Running Boards 440.00
Wiper motor 164.00
Headlights and other light stuff 200.00
That comes to 2850.00
The rest was labor charges for the guys in the shop to help me. The guys helped with the 12 volt conversion, we got the tail lights and rear turn signals from a stash my dad had.  I already had lots of the things I used in the shop already, which makes me very lucky.   Kevin and I didn't charge ourselves for our labor, and my dad rebuilt my trans, so he didn't charge me for that either.  Also, we had a parts truck I stole a lot of things from there including trans parts.
Total bill right at 5000.00
The most costly thing was the cab corners

Kelle and I have both been driving the Blue Flash alot these days... I think we've almost amassed 10,000 miles on it since its return to the road.     So far, so good.   Here's a shot of the air conditioning on...
