Professional Products picked up a SEMA New Product award for their trick electronic fuel injection system.   It's shaped like a carb, requires only a couple wires to connect, and they claim it can be installed in an afternoon.   We asked them how this is all possible.   We also check out their new distributor that's adjustable without removing the cap.

That is some cool stuff. It looks like what I have been waiting for. If that system works as slick as it seems I will not have to bite my lip anymore when the guys sticking the LS engines in the Firebirds start ripping on the old Pontiac power plants. Big tourqe from lots of CI in my 455 and all the features of FI along with overdrive in my 68 sound like a great package.  If that FI  will fit under the Ram Air set up on a 68 and or 69 Firebird one or two of them maybe  coming to my house soon!
The dist is also a great idea do they make one for tradtional Pontiac?

The EFI unit is a cool solution for the Poncho motors.   I'm not sure about the distributor for Pontiacs, but you saw how they plan on changing bases to make different units.
