Somernites Cruise is held on the Fourth Friday & Saturday of each month
April-October, rain or shine!!There are many events on "the strip" on Friday night and in Downtown Somerset on Saturday. We now have
two entrance gates in Downtown Somerset that open at 2:00PM on Saturday for the "Show & Shine" portion of
the weekend. The "Show & Shine" concludes at 8:00PM and then "cruising the strip" shifts into high gear and
continues until
Somernites Cruise is always FREE to participants & spectators. The "Show & Shine" offers a relaxed,
family-oriented atmosphere with great cruisin' music in an entirely original setting. On the blocked off city
streets of Downtown Somerset, you will have the opportunity to meet and enjoy being with other car
enthusiasts as well as spectators while reminiscing about the cars on display. We suggest you and your
friends bring lawn chairs and sit by the street to watch over 1,000 beautiful show cars & trucks as they enter
the "Show & Shine" area.
Come to town and Cruise on Friday night too! More and more cruisers are now choosing to arrive in town on
Friday evening and stay a night or two so they can better enjoy all that the Cruise Weekend has to offer.
