1966 Chevrolet Chevelle SS396 Restoration at V8 Speed & Resto Shop
This cool 1966 Chevelle is the second for it’s owner Larry Frees, who might be familiar as the caretaker of the “Mr. Chevy” 1955 Chevy gasser and hauler ramp truck.     He had a Marina Blue ‘66 many years ago, and this car will serve to be the “jumping off point” from where his old ‘66 left off.    Larry provided us with the beginning of the restoration story as it unfolds in the V8 Speed & Resto Shop.

1969 VW Bus Engine Swap and Suspension Modificaitons at the V8 Speed and Resto Shop

This 1969 Volkswagen Bus looks sweet, but is in need of some tuning and maintenance.  The owner wishes the V8 Speed Team to perform a complete tune up, add some Wilwood disc brakes, perform some paint repairs, and change out the "camper" windows for regular glass sliders.  A new suspension system will allow the VW to lay low, but drive safely at ride-height going down the road.  New wiring will keep the Type 2 safe as well.

1974 Dodge Dart Tuning and Matinenance at the V8 Speed and Resto Shop

1966 Ford Fairlane Wiring and Maintenance at the V8 Speed and Resto Shop

This 1966 Ford Fairlane came to the V8 Speed and Resto Shop after a nearly completed restoration.   The owner is aiming for an "R Code" look, with the plain white envelope and a big FE Frod 428 under the hood.

1964 Chevrolet Corvette Repaint and Upgrades at V8 Speed & Resto Shop
This 1964 Chevrolet Corvette visited the V8 Speed & Resto Shop for completion of various restoration items.    On the list include some electrical rewiring, cosmetic updates, engine tuning, and overall drivability improvements.   It's also going to recieve some new paint with a cool and flashy stripe!  We're happy to help return this cool 350 4-speed powered '64 Corvette back to the road!
