The design has been chosen for the COMP Cams 1969 Chevrolet Camaro being rejuvenated at the V8 Speed and Resto Shop! The car was white with black stripes in its previous life, but the new rendering from Carter Hickman Design shows us some subtle updates in realistic 3D. First, you'll notice the red pinstripe that frames the traditional black SS hood and deck lid stripes. Next, the stripe crosses over the rear wing and wraps under the deck lid, butting against the blacked-out tail panel. The tail pan frames a custom "CC" badge to replace the traditional "SS" badge, which also compliments the COMP Camaro badges on the fenders. The car retains its RS nose and trim, which is enhanced with billet elements from Eddie Motorsports. The charcoal wheels bring out the red in the brake calipers, and the hounds tooth interior keeps the transitional motif. We will be using restoration parts from YearOne to fix any issues on the Camaro, and you can follow along in the V8 Forum as thief V8 Speed Crew brings this life-like rendering to real life!
